Hi! I'm a recent graduate in Environmental Engineering from Cornell University (Class of 2026, Dr. April Gu's Lab). My Master's research focused in applying computer vision and data analytics for optimizing chemical dosing in wastewater sludge dewatering.
Previously, I graduated from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, BUET (class of 2023). My undergrad research interest focused on Flood vulnerability of Road Networks in Bangladesh
My research ambitions and work experience includes wastewater treatment systems, resource recovery, process optimization with application of computer vision, deep learning and remote sensors. I'm equally interested in flood forecasting and vulnerability analyses, and in transportation systems, as I did my undergrad research on it.
I wish to contribute (through my academic and professional career) in work that aims towards providing cost-effective and easy-to-maintain solutions to basic but critical problems in society. I believe that co-operation, in addition to relevant knowledge and technology, is essential to create a world that fosters and utilizes merit, excellence and intelligence, but welcomes diversity and inclusion and tries to ensure equity for all.
